Present & Pleased Devotional DAY TWENTYNINE

GOD, OPEN MY EYES TO ONE PERSON WHO NEEDS
YOUR LOVE TODAY AND GIVE ME THE COURAGE TO SHARE IT.

God is working in a mighty way here at Central. I'm so excited to be a part of it! People are experiencing God like never before. God is planting seeds all across Southern Illinois as over 9,000 people watch our service Sunday mornings on WSIL TV. Revival, jubilee, transformation is soaking into the hearts of this church family.

I'm so excited for those reading this devotional and preparing, fasting, praying for a deeper relationship with God and others. This prayer was introduced at Central in 2020 before pandemics, politics, and protests took over our attention. Are you still praying it? Are you still looking and praying for ONE person you can share God's love with?

Relationships matter because they matter to God. Praying this prayer everyday keeps our attention on what matters most. Our relationships with our neighbors, family, that guy across the hall at work, matter.

It's probably no surprise to you, but I'm not a guy that one should say works well with their hands. I'm no farmer. But, I can understand the basic principles of farming. It's in the Bible, Galatians 6:7 "A man reaps what he sows."  You decide what you want to grow and then put the appropriate seed in the ground. Sure, adjust some variables, but you produce what you plant.

Same is true for us. But we still wonder why God's promises aren't being fulfilled in our lives, when in reality we've planted the wrong seeds. If you're planting for eternity, then you're reaping the reward of a future with Jesus. Let's not grow weary in planting and praying. A harvest is coming. Let's scatter seeds of faith. Let's Pray for One and share God's love with others.

When we pray this powerful and simple prayer together as a church family - God will use you and He'll use me to usher in a brand new revival.
