Have you ever felt like God has communicated directly to you through the words/actions of another person? Maybe on a Sunday morning during Jamie’s sermon you feel like he is speaking directly to you, addressing exactly what is stirring in your heart.  Maybe you have a friend that speaks truth to you in love and redirects you back to Jesus. Maybe you have someone in your life who serves others with their whole heart and their actions and love draws you closer to Jesus.  I have had those moments too! Something powerful happens when God aligns listening ears to faithful hearts.  God can indeed use the vulnerability, faithfulness, wisdom, and love of others to share who He is and what He is doing.  But don’t forget, He can do that through you too.

Are you open to the work God is doing?

Are you praying that your eyes would be open to the needs of others?

Are you faithfully praying for wisdom?

Are you willing to be vulnerable?

Feeling convicted? Yeah, me too! God is reminding me to look outside myself for a moment and to be open to what He needs to me see, what He needs to me do, and what He needs me to say.

Sometimes the weight of the questions I asked feels heavy.  We can feel guilty for “not doing enough,” or afraid of uncomfortable situations that God may call us to.  Please don’t let guilt, fear, or uncertainty keep you from stepping out in faith.  Serving others brings JOY.  Praying for wisdom brings PEACE. Being vulnerable brings GROWTH and COMMUNITY.  Leading others to the truth of God’s love brings POWER

There are many great things God is going to do in you and through you. Are you ready? Are you willing?

Let’s get to work!
