In basketball sometimes, teams seem defeated, but comeback and win; snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. Key Verses: Luke 23:32 – 43 Key points…Luke 23 records a story of a man who was defeated but found victory through Jesus. When Jesus was crucified, when He died deliberately for the sins of the world, there was a thief executed beside Him. This thief snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. What changed Him? 1. He feared God 2. He observed Jesus 3. He admitted his guilt 4. He asked for forgiveness
