WHO?
Central Stream Team is a ministry opportunity where volunteers travel with their assigned group to visit our offsite worship locations. The majority of these sites are assisted living centers and special need group homes located within an hour of Central. Our Stream Team members will intentionally engage with residents in worship, conversation, communion, and more! Central will provide all the materials needed for the experience, as well as, transportation to the sites that are outside of Mt. Vernon.
WHEN?
Stream Team members would need to be at the assigned location around 8:30am. Our WSIL TV Channel 3 broadcast gives us the perfect avenue to worship with the residents beginning at 9am. Volunteers would serve one Sunday a month and, in many cases, be back in time to worship in person at the 11am service at Central. We’ll be building these teams over the next month and then sending them out into the field as soon as possible.
WHY?
Stream Team is a unique outreach experience that has the vision and heart to invest and pour into our church family who worship with us off campus. The goal for this ministry is to create intentional and meaningful connections that will grow into positive and powerful relationships.
