Central Campus Team
WHAT IS THE CAMPUS TEAM?
The Campus Team is made up of three bodies: GO Team, Landscaping Team, and Mowing Team.
The Go Team is a construction/project oriented team. We serve on campus and off campus. The Go Team does everything from wheelchair ramps to painting.
The Mowing Team focuses on keeping the church’s lawn looking clean, well-trimmed and de-cluttered. The mowing team has also served off campus by helping individuals that are shut in or unable to mow their own properties.
The Landscaping Team keeps the churches property looking beautiful by maintaining all the plants, flowers, rock beds and mulch beds.
HOW OFTEN DO THESE TEAMS MEET?
The Go Team meets when called upon. This team does not have a set schedule. When projects come up, volunteers will be contacted. Then, from that list, a date to do the project will be set.
The Mowing Team mows once a week. Individuals only serve once a month. 4 teams of 4 make up a calendar month. Each team has a team leader that coordinates what day they will mow.
The Landscaping Team meets once a week or as projects come up.
WILL I NEED TO BRING MY OWN TOOLS/EQUIPMENT?
For either the GO Team, Mowing Team, or Landscaping Team, the short answer is no. Central has been extremely blessed to be able to have their own mowing equipment, carpentry tools, and landscaping tools. However, if you would like to bring, or use, your own equipment you are welcomed to do so!
