Mt. Machaerus

Today, we’ll explore Mt. Machaerus. It was here that John the Baptist sat imprisoned, isolated, and questioning. The same man who boldly declared Jesus as Lord now found himself doubting. Hard seasons have a way of doing that to us. But the story of John reminds us that questioning in difficult moments does not disqualify our faith. Even here on Mt. Machaerus, Jesus responded with reassurance, reminding us that God is still at work even when we can't see it.
