What Does it Mean to Honor God?

What does it really mean to honor God's name, and why does it matter so much? We have become so desensitized to the casual misuse of God's name that it barely registers anymore. But today, we're reminded that the real issue beneath the surface is a widespread erosion of honor and respect, not just for authority figures in our lives, but for God himself.

But when we remember who God truly is, honoring his name becomes less of a rule to follow and more of a natural response to genuine reverence.
